Military-Specific Scholarships

ULM offers several scholarships specifically for veterans, active-duty members and their families through the ULM Foundation:

  • Am Vets Post 66 Scholarship – For descendants of U.S. veterans
  • George Pratte Veteran Scholarship – Prioritizes veterans and their spouses/dependents
  • Gene W. and Vivian Jircik Muckleroy Endowed Scholarship – For veterans or children of veterans with financial need
  • I Want to Teach Annual Scholarship – Preference for military veterans pursuing education degrees
  • Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1809 J.W. Hackworth Memorial Scholarship – For honorably discharged or active-duty students classified as juniors or above
